Winery
A growing need for more production led to the design of this additional building for the Zlaten Rhozen wine cellar in Kapatovo (Bulgaria). The new extension is situated south of the existing wine cellar where degustation sessions take place.
Both buildings are connected, thus allowing for an undisrupted work process. An added bonus is the introduction of a curtain wall for the new facility, which allows visitors to observe the production process when passing by.
The curtain wall is shaded by external stores to prevent the building from overheating and at the same time to allow natural light and transparency.
A service road encircles the building and serves as a connection point to the main road where deliveries are coming from. The road also facilitates the work processes in the whole complex.
The newly added building has an area of 1300 sq.m.
